About our coconut oil

We grow our coconut trees organically, without chemical fertilizers, pesticides or insecticides. The coconuts are dried and then pressed in a traditional iron chekku, and the oil is not refined, bleached or deodorised. It keeps its natural fragrance and the goodness that makes coconut oil a staple in South Indian homes.

How to use

• Cooking: use for tempering, frying and sweets, or drizzle over rice and porridge
• Hair: warm a little oil and massage into the scalp, leave for an hour or overnight, then wash
• Skin: apply a few drops to damp skin after a bath

Storage tips

Coconut oil naturally turns solid below about 24°C. This is normal; it melts again in warm weather or when you stand the bottle in warm water. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and use a dry spoon.
